Approve retroactive Agreement with Restpadd Health Corp. in the amount of $500,000, to provide inpatient psychiatric treatment services to qualified Mendocino County clients, effective January 1, 2024 through June 30, 2024; authorize the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Restpadd Health Corp. is a 16-bed acute care psychiatric inpatient treatment facility located in Red Bluff, California licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services. Restpadd Health Corp treats both adults 18 and older, and adolescents ages 13-17, and is designed as a 2-unit facility to prevent intermingling between the two age groups. Admission to Restpadd Health Corp is based on the medical necessity of patients who are unable to maintain and safely function at home or in the community. At the facility, Restpadd Health Corp provides multi-disciplinary evaluation, treatment, rapid stabilization, and coordinated discharge planning that encourages wellness and recovery of individuals, with a goal to send those individuals back to their respective community.
