Approve retroactive Allocation Agreement with California Department of Public Health, California Tobacco Prevention Program, in the amount of $300,000, to support the delivery of Tobacco Prevention Program services, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024; authorize the Public Health Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Approval of the proposed Allocation Agreement will allow Public Health to accept the forthcoming Allocation award from California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Tobacco Prevention Program (CTPP), (formerly known as the California Tobacco Control Program), to support Public Health's CTPP efforts throughout Mendocino County. The Allocation Agreement funds are available through Proposition 99, the Tobacco Tax and Health Protection Act, and the California Healthcare, Research, and Prevention Tax Act of 2016 (Proposition 56). CDPH is responsible for administering a statewide comprehensive tobacco use prevention and reduction program.
