Approve retroactive revenue Agreement No. 23-10230, a fee for service Agreement, with California Department of Public Health for administration of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program in Mendocino County, effective July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2027; authorize the Public Health Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Office of AIDS, works collaboratively with state and federal agencies, local health jurisdictions, universities, and community-based organizations to ensure that efforts to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic are targeted and effective. CDPH contracts with Mendocino County Public Health to provide AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Assistance Program (PrEP-AP) enrollment services in Willits, Ukiah, and Fort Bragg. With funding from the proposed Agreement, Public Health will assist clients in navigating through the financial assistance programs for HIV and AIDS treatment, assess clients' eligibility for and assist with enrollment into other third-party insurance coverages, provide outreach services to clients, and assess clients' eligibility and assist with enr...
