PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On February 28, 2003, the Board of Supervisors approved BOS Agreement No. 23-025 with 4LEAF, Inc., for up to $1,600,000 in contract planning services, from the effective date of the Agreement through December 31, 2023.

On September 26, 2023, the Board of Supervisors approved BOS Agreement No. 23-025-A1 4LEAF, Inc., Increasing the Contracted amount by an additional $1,206,000 for Contract Planning Services, for a New Total Amount of $2,806,000, and Extending the Term from December 31, 2023, through December 31, 2024.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Cannabis Department is requesting approval to amend the current Agreement with 4LEAF, Inc., to pay for contract planning services. The contract amount will be increased by an additional $404,541.70, for a new total amount not to exceed $3,210,541.70. This agreement will continue to provide contract planning services to support the County with the processing of applications for commercial cannabis cultivation and nursery operations needing to transition from a State provisional license to an Annual License. There is a State requirement that this workload be completed by December 31, 2024.
