Summary of Request:
In 2020, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors’ (BOS) Homeless Action Ad Hoc Committee met with staff and community stakeholders to develop a preliminary expenditure plan and submit an application for Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) funding. Soon after, Mendocino County entered into a revenue Agreement with Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency (BCSH) for Round 1 HHAP funding in the amount of $924,734.12, with Mendocino County as the Administrative Entity for the Mendocino County Homeless Services Continuum of Care (MCHSCoC). Since this initial Round 1 of HHAP funding, Mendocino County entered into four more Agreements for additional Round 1 and Round 2 HHAP funding in the amounts of $856,699.99, $437,551, $391,634, and $567,869.71.
