Summary of Request:
Department of Transportation (DOT) will prepare and administer construction plans, specifications, estimates and contract documents for Contract Number (No.) 190002, 2019 Asphalt Concrete (AC) Maintenance Project on various County Maintained Roads up to an estimated $4,000,000, depending on available funds. This project will be to preserve 12.48 miles of road surfaces within the Mendocino County Maintained Road System, at an estimated average cost of $283,513.00 per mile when completed. The roads are Summers Lane, County Road (CR) 415D, from milepost (MP) 0.00 to MP 0.85, Benson Lane, CR 415E, from MP 0.00 to MP 0.68, Hanson Road, CR 415H, from MP 0.00 to MP 0.67, Noyo Acres Drive, CR 415F, from MP 0.00 to MP 0.64, Basin View Drive, CR 447, from MP 0.00 to MP 0.18, Fort Bragg Sherwood Road, CR 419, from MP 1.00 to MP 4.12, Ward Avenue, CR 425B, from MP 0.00 to MP 1.43, Simpson Lane, CR 414, from MP 0.00 to MP 3.51, Ellison Way, CR 414A, from MP 0.00 to MP 0.38, Mitchell Creek Drive, CR 414B, from MP 0.00 to MP 2.01, Boice lane, CR 413, from MP 0.00 to MP 1.20, and Pearl Drive, CR 412A, from MP 0.08 to MP 0.52. This project is to be funded through Senate Bill 1(SB 1): The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, and Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds. The Department will not exceed funding available.
