Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution No. 14-054, (April 22, 2014) the Board approved to advertise and award DOT Contract No. 130078 for construction of the School Way Bridge Replacement Project over the Russian River on School Way, CR 236. By Resolution No. 17-034, (March 20, 2017) the Board accepted the Notice of Completion and release of construction contract for the School Way Bridge Replacement Project.
Summary of Request:
DOT Agreement No. 160004 provides for vegetation replacement, erosion control measures, monitoring and maintenance, for five years. SHN and their sub-consultant, Samara Restoration, responded to the request for proposals and were rated most qualified to do the work. The negotiated “not-to-exceed” price is $ 131,000, with a contingency of $15,000, for additional tasks that may arise during the five years.
