Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

On April 7, 2026, the Board approved the 2025-26 DOJ DEA Revenue Agreement in the amount of $100,000.

Summary of Request:

This annual award from the US DOJ, DEA, provides funding to defray County costs associated with the eradication and investigation of illicit marijuana operations. The DEA issues this Revenue Agreement each year to support local enforcement efforts, including personnel time, equipment, and related investigative activities. During the current contract term, the DOJ added additional funds late in the year after overtime costs exceeded the original award due to expanded investigative work. This Amendment increases the Agreement amount by $39,000, resulting in a new total annual award of $139,000, and reflects additional federal funding provided for these efforts through September 30, 2026.
