The Board of Supervisors previously approved MCERA Regulations of the Board of Retirement on October 4, 2022.
Summary of Request:
The Board of Retirement establishes Regulations for MCERA, pursuant to Government Code Sections 31525 through 31527, and can amend these Regulations at any time. The existing Regulations have been amended and will be replaced by Regulations approved by the Board of Retirement on September 16, 2026. Pursuant to Government Code section 31525, these Regulations shall become effective when approved by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors and shall be the official Regulations of the Board, superseding any and all conflicting rules or resolutions.

Do not approve the MCERA Regulations of the Board of Retirement and provide direction to staff.
