By Resolution Number (No.) 23-012 (January 10, 2023), the Board of Supervisors declared the existence of a Local Emergency related to the December 2022/January 2023 Winter Storms Event.                     

 

Summary of Request

On March 15, 2026, Department of Transportation (DOT) Contract No. 250048 was advertised for bids, and on April 2, 2026, bids for DOT Contract No. 250048 were opened with Gregg Simpson Trucking being the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $400,395. The Engineer’s Estimate was $455,150.  DOT is requesting authorization to award DOT Contract No. 250048 to Gregg Simpson Trucking.

Postpone award of DOT Contract No. 250048.
