Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

January 22, 2019: Formation of an Ad Hoc Committee to discuss issues related to Cannabis Cultivation Ordinance. May 14, 2019: Discussion at BOS meeting of ad hoc committee’s recommendations where direction was provided to staff. February 25, 2020: Discussion at BOS meeting of ad hoc committee’s recommendations where direction was given for the ad hoc committee to return to the BOS with clarification.                     

 

Summary of Request: 

Clarification was needed in order to better understand the cannabis cultivation charts for “legacy” and “non-legacy” sites.

The ad hoc committee is making these recommendations:

1.                     Have an open window for new legacy cultivator permits which would be for six months after adoption/implementation of the cannabis equity program.

2.                     Adopt zoning and scale charts for both “legacy” and “non-legacy” cultivation site permits.
