Approve Agreement with Redwood Community Crisis Center (“RC3”) in the amount of $260,000 to provide and monitor crisis assessment and psychiatric hospitalization aftercare to individuals within the boundaries of Mendocino County that are not eligible for County Medi-Cal crisis assessment and/or aftercare services due to having private pay and/or Medicare insurance, effective upon full execution through June 30, 2025; authorize the Behavioral Health Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request:
Redwood Community Services, Inc., DBA Redwood Community Crisis Center (RC3) will provide and monitor crisis assessment and psychiatric hospitalization aftercare to individuals within the boundaries of Mendocino County who are not eligible for County Medi-Cal crisis assessment and/or aftercare services due to having private pay and/or Medicare insurance. Through the proposed Agreement, RC3 will ensure timely access to services to meet individual needs and promote resiliency and positive outcomes for individuals in Mendocino County who do not have Medi-Cal insurance.
This Agreement is paid for using Measure B funds as recommended by the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee and approved by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors.
