Approve second amendment to BOS Agreement 23-092 (PA Agreement 20-154) with Anker-Lucier Mortuary extending the termination date from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and increasing the total maximum Agreement amount by $16,666.66 for a new Agreement total of $83,333.32 for the continuation of mortuary services within the Northern Operations Sector of Mendocino County effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025; authorize the Sheriff to sign any future amendments that do not affect the maximum Agreement total; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On June 6, 2023, the Board approved the first amendment to PA Agreement 20-154 that extended the termination date to June 30, 2024, and increased the Agreement total by $16,666.66 for a new Agreement total of $66,666.66.
Summary of Request:
On February 18, 2020, the Sheriff’s Office released Request for Proposal (RFP) SO-2020-001 for Coroner and Pathology-Related Mortuary Services. Anker-Lucier Mortuary was awarded a three-year Agreement in the amount of $50,000 for services performed within the Northern Operations Sector of Mendocino County, with the option to extend the Agreement termination for two additional one-year periods. This second amendment will extend the termination date set out in BOS Agreement 23-092 from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and will increase the Agreement total by $16,666.66 bringing the total maximum Agreement total to $83,333.32.
