By Resolution Number (No.) 16-151 (December 20, 2016) the Board authorized declaring existence of a local emergency related to the 2016 Winter Storms Event. By Resolution No. 17-011 (January 24, 2017) Board authorized declaring existence of a local emergency related to the January 2017 Winter Storms Event.                     

 

Summary of Request

These Twelve Department of Transportation contracts will provide for the construction of 2016 and 2017 Storm Damage Permanent Repairs on Peachland Road, CR 128, MP 0.35, Milepost 0.95, and Milepost 1.14; Eel River Road, County Road 240B, Milepost 7.85 and  Milepost 8.10; Laytonville Dos Rios Road, CR 322, MP  3.34, MP 3.66, and MP 4.19; Pine Ridge Road, CR 220, MP 4.52 and MP 5.30; Blackhawk Drive, CR 371, MP 2.00; Low Gap Road, CR 212, MP 19.40. The project work will consist of construction of soldier pile walls, underdrain systems, and rock slope protection, etc.  Eligibility for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and California Disaster Assistance Act (CDAA) funding will be confirmed prior to contracting.

Postpone advertising for bids and award of contracts and delay commencement of construction.
