Approve retroactive three-year Agreement with Sonoma Sweepers in the amount of $87,000 ($29,000 annually for FY 2026-27, 2027-28, and FY 2028-29) to provide comprehensive maintenance services for Mendocino County facilities located at 727-747 South State Street, Ukiah, California, effective October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029; authorize the Department of Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that does not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign the same.

Summary of Request:
Mendocino County Department of Social Services (MCDSS) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 027-26 in June 2026 to provide comprehensive exterior maintenance services for Mendocino County facilities located at 727-747 South State Street, Ukiah, California. This was a failed RFP due to only one vendor, Sonoma Sweepers, submitting a proposal for the RFP. The Department has decided to contract with Sonoma Sweepers.
Sonoma Sweepers have been servicing the exterior of the facilities over the last years through a Blanket Purchasing Order and will continue to services through the agreement. Services provided have been satisfactory and Mendocino County Department of Social Services has established an efficient professional working relationship with the vendor.
This Agreement is retroactive due to the timeline of the RFP and contract negotiation.
