Summary of Request:
Mennonite Disaster Services (MDS) working in partnership with Mendocino-ROC, has rebuilt four homes for Redwood Complex Fire survivors. More than 200 MDS volunteers came from across the United States and Canada to build homes for people they had never met. Supervisors Brown and McCowen request approval for the attached proclamation which will be presented at “An Evening of Gratitude” celebrating the contributions of MDS in rebuilding homes for Redwood Complex Fire survivors.
