Summary of Request:
On June 27, 2023, the County of Mendocino Purchasing Agent approved Agreement No. PA-24-03 with KNN Public Finance, LLC to provide financial consulting services through June 30, 2024. Through this Agreement, KNN Public Finance, LLC provides financial consulting services in connection with the 2022 Certificates of Participation financing tied to County facility projects, including the Behavioral Health Wing expansion at the Jail. The Jail project is still active and expected to wrap up during fiscal year 2026-27.
Agreement No. PA-24-03 was subsequently amended on September 19, 2024, to update hourly reimbursement rates and extend the end date to June 30, 2025, and again on May 12, 2025 to further extend the end date to June 30, 2026. The proposed Agreement extends the end date to June 30, 2027, to allow KNN Public Finance, LLC to continue providing financial consulting services.
