Summary of Request:
The Board of Retirement Bylaws, Article X., Section 8., state that following the date of election the Retirement Administrator shall publicly canvass the returns of said election and shall certify the results thereof to the Board of Retirement and to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Mendocino at the soonest possible board meeting following the election. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes shall be declared elected. The canvas of the Board of Retirement election held June 20, 2022 resulted in Vincent Hawkins receiving the highest number of votes and is declared elected.
