Summary of Request

The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.

At the request of the Social Services Director, Human Resources requests the Board amend the Position Allocation Table to add a Program Specialist II and delete position number 719, Account Specialist III.

The incumbent will serve as a program expert in RFA regulations and processes, ensuring the timely, accurate, and regulation compliant approval of prospective caregivers for children in foster care.
