Adopt Resolution accepting the findings and recommendations of Traffic Study Number 25-01 and declaring the intent to establish maximum limit(s) between 25 miles per hour (mph) and 40 mph on Little River Airport & Albion Ridge Roads, County Roads (CR) 404 milepost (MP) 0.00 to 5.92 and CR 402 MP 0.00 to 4.00 (Little River - Albion Area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

During the Board of Supervisors meeting of September 24, 2025, Item 3c - direction was given to Department of Transportation (DOT) Staff to perform speed surveys for Albion Ridge Road and Little River Airport Road(s) at a time and manner most efficient for the department.
Summary of Request:
DOT requests the Board of Supervisors accept the findings of Traffic Study No. 25-01, which determined that the establishment of between 25 and 40 mph maximum speed zone(s) on Albion Ridge & Little River Airport CR 404 milepost (MP) 0.00 to 5.92 and CR402 MP 0.00 to 4.00 is in order.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Not accept the findings and recommendations of Traffic Study No. 25-01 and not proceed with the establishment of a speed zone(s) on Albion Ridge & Little River Airport Roads.
