Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On April 5, 2022, the Board approved BOS Agreement No. 22-081, which was a lease agreement for storage space used by the Sheriff’s Office and Information Technology; two one-year extensions were subsequently processed for that agreement.
Summary of Request:
The County does not own infrastructure to appropriately house certain types of specialized equipment like the Sheriff’s Mobile Command Vehicle. The space currently leased by Rose Development Corporation provides this equipment with necessary security and protection from the elements. It is requested that the Board approve a new lease agreement for that space, extending the term from January 4, 2026, through December 31, 2026 with authorization for the Purchasing Agent to approve up to three additional one-year extensions, and apply the County’s Purchasing Policy (Policy 1) to this storage in the future.
