Summary of Request

Redwood Community Services, Inc., DBA Redwood Community Crisis Center (RC3) is able to provide and monitor crisis assessment and psychiatric hospitalization aftercare to individuals within the boundaries of Mendocino County who are not eligible for County Medi-Cal crisis assessment and/or aftercare services due to having private pay and/or Medicare insurance. Through the proposed retroactive Agreement, RC3 will ensure timely access to services to meet individual needs and promote resiliency and positive outcomes for individuals in Mendocino County who do not have Medi-Cal insurance. This retroactive Agreement is paid for using Measure B funds as recommended by the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee, and approved by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors.

This Agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2023 due to prolonged revisions between BHRS and RC3, resulting in a delay in the contract process.
