Summary of Request:
Mendocino County Library is reviewing and updating its policies and updating the Library’s Internet Access and Technology Acceptable Use Policy is required for the Library to qualify for discount connectivity programs through the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) which administers the E-Rate program. The Acceptable Use Policy covers the proper and acceptable use by patrons of the internet and technology provided by the Library.
The Library’s Internet Access and Technology Acceptable Use Policy has been approved by County Counsel and helps meet the Board of Supervisors’ Strategic Plan goal of a Safe and Healthy County.
