Summary of Request:
On August 17, 2021, Resolution No. 21-122 was approved by the County of Mendocino Board of Supervisors, delegating authority to the Assistant Chief Executive Officer to execute the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) program application, the PLHA standard Agreement and any subsequent amendments or modifications thereto, as well as any other documents which are related to the PLHA program or grant award. According to HCD request, since the “Assistant Chief Executive Officer” title is no longer recognized, the County of Mendocino must re-delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer or designee in order to execute forthcoming PLHA amendments and any future agreements.
