Report out of committee for each referred matter and clear each referral, form an ad hoc committee to further review the matter previously referred to committee, and/or refer a matter to a 2021 standing committee.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
The 2021 Board of Supervisors General Government Committee and Public Health, Safety and Resources Committee were appointed by the Board of Supervisors on January 5, 2021.
Summary of Request:
The Board of Supervisors has made multiple referrals to each committee throughout the year; and several active referrals remain. The Board of Supervisors may take action to appoint Standing Committees at their first meeting of the year; in order to prevent any potential conflicts with the Brown Act the Board of Supervisors must clear each 2021 referral from committee or refer the matter to an ad hoc of the appropriate committee members for further review. Additionally, the Board of Supervisors may make referrals to the 2022 ad hoc committees. A list of the outstanding referral has been included as a supporting document to this item.
