Summary of Request

The County of Mendocino has been awarded funding through BRIC to increase fire resiliency including defensible space and hazardous fuels reduction in the Brooktrails Township, Sylvandale, Spring Creek and the Gates, the more densely populated neighborhoods on the Sherwood Corridor in Willits, CA.

This agreement contracts with a qualified vendor to provide high-resolution airborne LiDAR data as part of Phase I of the BRIC program, to support wildfire mitigation planning, enforcement of defensible space, vegetation management, and emergency preparedness.
