Summary of Request

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is a professional services firm in Novato, CA, offering audit, tax, wealth advisory, digital, outsourcing, and consulting services. On March 3, 2023, Mendocino County entered into Agreement No. PA-23-63 with CLA for forensic audit services including all expertise, labor, and resources required to perform interviews, create documents, provide analysis, and draft a report. On April 13, 2023, Amendment No. PA-23-63-A1 was executed, updating the Exhibit B, Payment Terms to include electronic email and communications review costs related to the forensic audit services.

Due to the nature and current progress/status of the forensic audit services, it was recently determined that these services will exceed the original $50,000 budget. The proposed second Amendment increases the amount available for forensic audit services by $50,000 for a new total of $100,000. Once executed, this second Amendment is effective for the full term of the Agreement, from March 3, 2023 through December 31, 2023.
