Summary of Request:
The Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee has approved the purchase of a gun locker to be installed at the Measure B Behavioral Health Training Facility to provide safe storage of firearms for the first responders and others whose profession requires them to carry a firearm. This locker will provide secure temporary storage during the time that those carrying firearms are on the premises utilizing the training facility.
