Summary of Request

Human Resources began offering a Supervisor Skills Academy certification program in January 2019 joined by Management Academy in 2021 and an Emerging Leaders certification in 2024. Formerly known as the Supervisor/Management Academy, the Leadership Academy is an 8-course certification pathway designed to build practical leadership skills, strengthen workplace culture, and support leaders at all levels.

The Academy is coordinated by the Leadership Initiative Program within Human Resources and includes courses focused on communication, emotional intelligence, performance management, trust-building, team-work, facilitation, time management, change management, and the County’s High Performing Organization philosophy.

We are pleased to recognize the following 32 employees for completing all course requirements for certification (totaling nearly 30 hours of instruction).
