On May 19, 2020, the Board of Supervisors appointed Christian M. Curtis as County Counsel for a four (4) year term.
Summary of Request:
This item proposes and recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve Employment Agreement between The County of Mendocino and Christian M. Curtis for the term May 19, 2020 through May 18, 2024.
Mr. Curtis was appointed as County Counsel for Mendocino County effective May 19, 2020. Mr. Curtis currently does not have an employment contract with the County and has been working at his Assistant County Counsel salary since his appointment to County Counsel.
Mr. Curtis was hired as a Deputy County Counsel IV August 28, 2016, promoted to Chief Deputy Counsel then to Assistant County Counsel prior to his current appointment.
