Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

By Resolution Number (No.) 24-083 (May 21, 2024), the Board of Supervisors approved the list of Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) projects for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25. By Resolution No. 24-096 (June 25, 2024), the Board approved the Mendocino County FY 2024-25 Budget. The narrative on page 55 of the FY 2024-25 Budget affirms the Board’s priority to invest in the Mendocino County Department of Transportation’s (MCDoT) road corrective maintenance funds to improve road surfaces with seals or asphalt overlays.                     

 

Summary of Request

The Mendocino County FY 2024-25 Budget, to meet the public transparency requirements of Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, presented the narrative on page 55 and the list of RMRA projects on page 531. The following list of projects is anticipated to utilize RMRA funds for FY 2025-26: 2025 Corrective Preventative Maintenance Project [Feliz Creek Road, CR 109; McDowell Street, CR 115E; Sanel Street, CR 115B; Harrison Street, CR 115A; Howell Street, CR 115F; Mountain House Road, CR 111; East Side Rancheria Road, CR 105; Nokomis Road, CR 117, Old Hopland-Yorkville Road, CR 110; Knox Street, CR 115D, First Street, CR 115C; Old Toll Road, CR 108; and La Franchi Road, CR 113]; 2026 Corrective Preventative Maintenance Project [Caspar Road, CR 569; Caspar Street, CR 410E; Fern Creek Road, CR 411A; Caspar Little Lake Road, CR 409; Caspar Orchard Road, CR 410, Point Cabrillo Drive, CR 564, and Comptche Ukiah Road, CR 223]; and 2027 Corrective Preventative Maintenance Project [West Road, CR 237; Road I, CR 234; Colony Drive, CR 232A; Road D, CR 232; Road B, CR 231A; Road A, CR 231; School Way, CR 236; Tomki Road, CR 237D; and Laughlin Way, CR 238].
