Summary of Request:
The California State Library is administering the award of the “CopyCat” grant in the amount of $8,752 in LSTA funds to go towards programming and supplies for the project, Whokulele! Learn to Play the Ukulele at the Ukiah Branch Library. The grant funds will provide for professional teaching sessions for the public as well as training for Library staff, and for supplies such as ukuleles and digital tuners, replacement ukulele strings, music stands, books, and audiovisual materials, and music literacy kits as well as music story time supplies.
