Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

On May 5, 2015, the Board adopted Resolution No. 15-065 approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Mendocino and the Mendocino County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.                       

 

Summary of Request

The Board of Supervisors’ negotiating team met with representatives from the Mendocino County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and have reached agreement regarding appropriate terms and conditions of employment for the term July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019.   Attached is a Resolution approving the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the MOU (Attachment A).  The MOU includes a salary increase (approximate General Fund (GF) cost of $654,655), no health care premium increase for calendar year 2018, longevity pay, shift differential and vacation cash out provision.
