Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Pursuant to the Board Rules of Procedure, an annual Master Meeting Calendar is adopted at the first Board meeting of the new calendar year.
Summary of Request:
As part of the first Board of Supervisors meeting for 2020, annual organizational items are brought forward for Board consideration and approval. The draft 2020 master calendar has been submitted to the Board for review and possible action. This calendar reflects the schedule for a June adoption of the County Budget, similar to the one adopted last year by the Board. Additionally, in order to better manage the Board of Supervisor’s agendas and those items that require Board action, the draft calendar also includes dates identified for “presentation” only types of items. Also identified on this draft calendar are two off-site Board meetings (locations to be identified).
As time-sensitive items arise throughout the year, meetings can be added to this schedule through Board approval.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Provide alternate dates for consideration and/or direct staff to bring an alternative schedule back to the Board for review.
