October 19, 2021 Item 4(s), Agreement No. 21-183
Summary of Request:
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, in March 2021, Mendocino County contracted with Redwood Community Services (RCS) to provide meal delivery, medication delivery, and transportation, telecommunication, and trash pickup services for those in isolation and/or quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the unpredictable nature of the need for these services, effective July 1, 2021, the contract was renewed, extending the end date through June 30, 2022, enabling RCS to continue providing meals to quarantined individuals. This proposed Amendment to the Agreement, starting July 1, 2021, increases the total amount from $50,000 to $125,000 in order for RCS to continue providing these services.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Return to staff for alternative handling.
