Summary of Request

The Mendocino County Youth Project is the County’s provider for FES, a program that delivers both supervised visitation services and Parenting Apart workshops for families involved in Mendocino County Family Law custody cases. These much-needed services allow safe, professional monitoring of visitation for parents who need oversight, enabling them to maintain relationships with their children.

FES is also used by Family & Children’s Services for families exiting the Juvenile Dependency system when one parent needs continued supervised visitation with his/her child.

This agreement funds FES while the Superior Court searches for sustainable funding to continue operation of the program.
