Summary of Request:
The Behavioral Health Training Center Remodel Project at 8207 East Road in Redwood Valley was awarded to Adams Commercial General Contracting (ACGC, Inc.) on March 23, 2021 in the amount of $295, 858. The work including alternates that added a fire sprinkler system and upgraded the building lighting to energy efficient LED fixtures began on March 29th. The prior Change order included time for the design, engineering and local Fire Authority approval of the fire sprinkler system and changes to the work most notably for field conditions and ADA compliance. This Change Order No. 2 includes repairs made to the existing asphalt paving and increased time to account for the County’s use of the building as an Alternate Care Site prior to the completion of the work. Pertinent correspondence and the contractor‘s proposal are included in the Change Order documents included with the packet.
