Approve Agreement with CentralSquare Technologies, LLC in the amount of $165,270.13 for a 3-year term, starting July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027, for Planning & Building Services automated permitting system (TRAKiT); and authorize the Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
An agreement with CentralSquare for the automated permitting system (TRAKiT) was approved by the Board on 8/16/22 and amended 7/11/23.
Summary of Request:
PBS has used TRAKiT for its automated permitting since 1999 to track, issue, and store all building permits including digital permits, planning applications and projects, and code enforcement cases. This contract provides continued software subscription and user maintenance for TRAKiT which is currently being utilized by PBS, the Department of Transportation, and Environmental Health.
At the advisement of County Counsel, language within the contract needed to be revised and approved by the Contractor which resulted in a submission delay, thus making this contract retroactive.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Do not approve the agreement and provide direction to staff.
