Approve Amendment to Agreement No. 16-086 with Redwood Community Crisis Center in the amount of $4,053 (for a new total of $66,542) to provide 24/7 crisis response and outreach and engagement services for children, youth, and young adults in FY 2016-17; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request:
Redwood Community Crisis Center (RC3) provides emergency mental health crisis intervention services to the children, youth, and young adults in Mendocino County who are experiencing crisis episodes and need immediate support. Services include: mental health assessments; psychiatric referrals and follow-up; connection to resources and long-term support; inpatient psychiatric referrals; and funding for Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) and Community Services and Supports (CSS). Funding for this Agreement is provided by a federal Mental Health Block Grant (MHBG) for Fiscal Year 2016-17. The grant fund has been increased from $62,489 to $66,542.
