Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution Number (No.) 21-039 (March 23, 2021), the Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized Department of Transportation (DOT) to advertise for bids and award DOT Contract No. 200098 for the 2021 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance on Orr Springs Road, at an estimated cost of $4,000,000. By Resolution No. 21-075 (May 25, 2021), the BOS authorized DOT to authorize Bid Additive 3 for DOT Contract No. 200098 to Northwest Paving, Inc., in the amount of $375,789.90, for a total contract amount of $4,007,673.
Summary of Request:
Construction has been completed. DOT would like to file the Notice of Completion to commence the applicable lien periods, and pending no claims, release Contract Sureties after expiration of lien periods. Contract surety must be released as prescribed by existing laws.

Postpone approval of the Notice of Completion and release of Contract Sureties for DOT Contract No. 200098.
