Summary of Request:
Accept presentation regarding Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act, Subchapter III - County Funds, Title III Funding allowable uses, accept summary of public comments, direct staff on projects to fund, and appropriate funds to the County miscellaneous budget unit in the amount of $219,000 for presented projects.
The documents provided for the public comment period estimated roughly $237,000 was available for obligation. This was an estimate. At this time the County has an unspent balance of Forest Reserve Funds in our Miscellaneous Trust of $219,000, we also have a projected allocation from the Forest Reserve of approximately $20,000 for our FY26-27 payment, which has yet to be received.
The Executive Office asking for direction on how to allocate the funds available as of today, which is $219,000,

Provide alternate direction to staff.
