Summary of Request:
California Welfare and Institutions Code 5604 stipulates that each county have a mental health board. Two of the board's duties, as set forth in section 5604.2, include advising the local governing body and the mental health director as to aspects of the local mental health program and submitting an annual report to the governing body on the needs and performance of the county's mental health system.
The Behavioral Health Advisory Board (BHAB), Mendocino County's mental health board, offers today's presentation in fulfillment of its duties. The BHAB chair and other BHAB members will discuss BHAB's 2019 and 2020 annual reports, which include sections on committees, accomplishments, and recommendations.
