Summary of Request:
On September 20, 2024, a Declaration of Candidacy was mailed to all lodging operators. Lodging operators that were notified had the opportunity to submit their name for candidacy, provided the statutory requirements were met. The deadline for filing the declaration was 4:00 p.m. on October 11, 2024. Per Ordinance No. 4384, Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.140 of Title 5 of the Mendocino County Code pertaining to the Mendocino County Lodging Business Improvement District, and pursuant to procedures approved by the Board of Supervisors, the final certification for newly elected members to the Mendocino County Tourism Commission are as follows:
• Alina Reyes - Small Lodging Operator (Term to commence January 1, 2025, expiring December 31, 2027)

Do not approve certification and provide direction to staff.
