Summary of Request:
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office has an annual revenue agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DOJ DEA) for the eradication and suppression of illicit cannabis on federal lands. Marijuana disposal is an essential and final step in the illicit marijuana eradication process. MCSO has contracted with Edward Berry Jr. to provide this service in previous fiscal years. Due to delays in the contract process, this agreement is presented for retroactive consideration.
