Summary of Request:
The emergency permit was issued to construct a slope stabilization structure consisting of piers and beams to support the existing residential foundation. The erosion along the shore having affected the foundation, plumbing, and connects to septic, well water, and interior plumbing. Remedial action is based on the recommendations of a geotechnical investigation. The proposed structure would be located on APN 127-160-07. Immediate action is necessary to allow the continued use of the existing single-family residence. This emergency permit is effective immediately and shall become null and void at the end of sixty (60) days. Prior to expiration of this Emergency Permit, the applicant shall submit a standard Coastal Development Permit application for the work authorized by this permit.
