Summary of Request:
Capital Projects are created through Board Action and typically have included authorization for the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to act as Project Manager to enter contracts and authorize Change Orders pursuant to Public Contract Code 20142. As of April 5, 2024, the incumbent holding the position of Facilities and Fleet Division Manager retired, and at this time that position will not be filled.
Approval of the recommended action transfers previously delegated authority from the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to the Chief Executive Officer or Designee.
