Summary of Request:
Chabot-Las Positas Community College District provides evidence-based training for foster care providers, group home staff, adoptive parents, and County staff serving Federal Title IV-E eligible children. These trainings include Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Signs of Safety (SOS), foster parent training, and other eligible training.
This Agreement, which utilizes funds from the State and matching percentages from both Chabot and Title IV-E Federal funds, will serve all children in Mendocino County currently in or at-risk of entering the child welfare system. Trainings under this Agreement will include child welfare staff, professionals, foster parents, and guardians who work with foster and adoptive children within Title IV-E regulations.
