On September 13, 2022, the Board of Supervisors' approved the 2021-2022 Grand Jury Reports and disbanded of the Grand Jury Ad Hoc Committees For the Grand Jury Reports Titled "Measure B Re-Examined", "Mendocino County Jail", "The Mendocino County Cannabis Equity Grant Program - 'Building the Airplane While It's Flying'", "County Programs of Last Resort: Public Administrator, Public Conservator and Public Guardian", "Redwood Valley County Water District - 48 Years of Water Insecurity" and "Community Corrections Partnership".

On February 28, 2023, the Board of Supervisors re-appointed the previous ad hoc committees to draft supplemental responses in response to letters received from the Grand Jury indicating that four (4) of the six (6) responses appeared to be insufficient.
Summary of Request:
Earlier this year, the 2022/2023 Grand Jury sent a letter to the Chair of the Board of Supervisors requesting supplemental responses to the 2021/2022 Grand Jury reports. The ad hoc committees created by the Board of Supervisors have reviewed and supplemented those responses, which are now ready for Board approval.
