Approve amendment to Agreement No. SS-S16-065, PA No. 17-34 with Ford Street Project in the amount of $20,000 (for a new total of $70,000) to provide residential drug and alcohol treatment for Family and Children’s Services clients in FY 2016-17; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request

Ford Street Project, the only residential substance abuse treatment facility in Mendocino County, provides treatment for referred clients that includes a weekly minimum of twenty hours of therapeutic counseling and random urinalysis for the purpose of screening for drugs and alcohol. This contract amendment provides additional funds for FCS clients who are currently participating in residential substance abuse treatment services at Ford Street Project as part of their FCS case plan.
