Summary of Request

On a non-precedential basis, the Board of Supervisors and SEIU, Management Association, Department Head Association, Teamsters Local 856 (Probation Unit), and Teamsters Local 856 (Public Attorneys Unit)  agree that the County will issue the benefits set forth within these side letters of agreement. The parties will continue to meet and confer in good faith over a successor Memorandum of Understanding and such terms as either have or may propose, if do not currently have a tentative agreement.   The side letters provide to all regular full-time and part-time SEIU, Management Association, Department Head Association, Teamsters Local 856 (Probation Unit), and Teamsters Local 856 (Public Attorneys Unit employees  employed on November 30, 2022,  and the date of payment, a $3,000 supplemental payment from one-time ARPA funds and also includes extra help employees  based on criteria outlined in side letters.
